Re: anyone have a braille embosser?
Hello Brian and All:toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
I have a used Romeo 20/40 which was gifted to me. By appearance it is in excellent condition but it has not been revived since its former owner passed away.
Steve at CanAssTech looked at it and told me the needed cable is available so it can be hooked to a computer. After that it is up to the user to know what to do.
I do not know and so cannot assure you it will work.
It uses a tractor feed but I cannot say that it is able to print double sided.
There is no Braille manual but a thick print one.
I was able to pack it into a used computer box so I think it can travel safely if treated with respect.
Obviously I am not asking anything for the machine but shipping would be expensive.
I believe its travel weight is about 10 kilograms.
Do let me know if you are interested.
Thank you for your interest.

Subject: [CCB-Tech-BuySellTrade] anyone have a braille embosser?
Subject line says it all I guess. I am looking for a braille embosser. Would prefer one that is double sided as it uses half the paper of a single sided model.
I am in Toronto so if you aren't, we would have to arrange shipping which can be expensive for these things as they can be heavy.
If anyone has one they want to part with, please feel free to write me
